Total Body YogaBurn w/ Weights [30 Minutes]
I might be on an Instagram break at the moment [soon to be over by the way] however that doesn’t mean I can’t jump on here to connect with y’all and share some content. I’ve actually taken this time away to catch up on a lot of things that I otherwise would have pushed to the back burner -- pushing some of our LIVE workouts to the blog has been one of those items.
This specific workout comes from way back in March of 2020, our very early COVID days together. Like all of my LIVE YogaBurn workouts, you’ll find a 30-minute total body workout coupled with a warm up on the front end and a cool down on the back end to round out at roughly 45 minutes in total.
I’ll be the first to admit that YogaBurn workouts haven’t been my main form of exercise for many, many months but I recently completed this and a few other workouts of this format and it definitely made me miss them. Compared to HIIT workouts [my personal favorite format] YogaBurn workouts look to recruit more of those slow twitch muscle fibers by using repetitive, more targeted movements to really sculpt [and burn] the different areas of the body.
I would argue that diversity is the key to success in all areas of life and your fitness routine is no different. If you’ve been killing the HIIT workouts lately, try some YogaBurn, Barre or Yoga in general. And if your workouts are consistently falling into the later categories, add that HIIT in. Diversifying your workouts will keep your mind and body from becoming stagnant & just plain bored.
