DB Upper Body Strengthening Tabata [30 Minutes]
This workout is FIRE that is all I know. It’s one that I squeezed in over my lunch break this past spring and [as per usual] I underestimated how tough it was going to be which is obvious because I wore COTTON thinking I wouldn’t sweat that much… ha!
I’m a big fan of bodyweight workouts because I know that they are accessible for EVERYONE but I do like to change it up once in awhile so if you find yourself at home without access to weights, feel free to use mason jars, soup cans, wine bottles… whatever you can find to get the job done #noshame. Ideally you’re looking for something around 5lbs for the lower side and 15lbs on the higher side — I believe I used 10lbs for the majority of this and still was totally cashed at the end.
I will say that if you have a few extra minutes, I highly recommend doing some kind of warm up to get the blood pumping on the front half of the workout and it would be really great to get some stretching in on the back half because I know that I was sore long after this workout ended.
