4TH OF JULY RECIPE ROUNDUP
1. This Summer Strawberry Bruschetta by Alex over at Ruffled Apron is the perfect way to add a little sweet to a traditionally savory dish!
2. If you’re looking to go the more traditional picnic route, you can try this Gluten Free Instant Pot Potato Salad from Taryn over at Hot Pan Kitchen looks like a super simple, mess free way to create the dish that we all associate with summertime.
3. Maybe you’re like me and you’ve overdone the traditional summertime salads and are looking to spice things up and/or sneak more vegetables into your loved ones’ diet. If so, my Shredded Brussels Sprouts Salad is a step outside of that comfort zone, but I promise you {and the rest of your guests} won’t regret it.
4. Spending time in the sunshine and heat makes me crave all of the light foods and Kat from Crunchy Kat read my mind when she created these Paleo Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps to add to this list. Can you say hella easy cabin lunch or dinner?
5. If you’re looking for something a bit more dessert-like, these One Bowl Whole Grain Strawberry Muffins from Miss Emily over at Get Well With Em are literally the perfect way to start your day or snack healthfully throughout the afternoon!
6. Up next on the dessert list are these jaw dropping Lemon Blueberry Mascarpone Hand Pies from Jennifer at Wanderlust and Wellness. Tell me you don’t want to eat them all.
7. And last but not least, the absolute perfect ending to whatever your weekend ahead looks like. This gorgeous Strawberry Almond Flour Cake from Kasey over at Well-Fed Soul. If I were you, I’d add a few bluebs to complete the whole red, white and blue theme!
I don’t know about you, but after all of that I am starving and ready to get my hands dirty in the kitchen! Whatever your weekend/week looks like ahead, I hope it’s filled with fun and long, sunshine-y days with your favs!
