20-Minute Total Body AMRAP + 5 Health Centered Valentines Day Date Ideas!
This no equipment, do anywhere 20 minute workout is the perfect way to get your heart pumping and muscles burning quick, so that you can focus the rest of your evening on your sweet valentine!
Valentine’s Day is the dream day for all the florists, chocolate makers and fancy restaurants, but let’s be honest here, it’s definitely not the healthiest day of the year...
And while it’s always fun to be {wined + dined} by your significant other or friends or family, waking up to a midweek slump because of 1 too many glasses of wine or chocolate truffles may not be the ideal start to your Wednesday. So why not spend your Valentines Day a bit different this year with one of my non-traditional Valentines Day Date Ideas!
1. Grocery shop + cook a delicious, healthy, homemade dinner together--- like my Paleo Filet Oscar, my Honey Mustard Glazed Chicken or my Oven Baked, Pecan Crusted Pork Chops.
2. Find a local fitness or dance studio offering a special Valentine’s Day Class {or lessons} and get that heart rate pumping!
3. Whip up a batch of healthy sweet treats like my absolute favorite Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, Cranberry Walnut Energy Balls or my Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters and snuggle up on the couch to catch your favorite chick flick on Netflix.
4. Have an at-home spa night complete with candles, massages, and facial masks--- all while sporting your comfiest bathrobe.
5. Get outdoors--- go for a hike or bike, try rock climbing or crush a workout together.
I truly believe that all of the above are amazing ideas and I will definitely be partaking in 1 {if not more} of them myself, but if you decided to crush the at-home workout together, I’ve got the perfect {short + sweet} workout for you! I kept it only 20 minutes so that you can get a solid sweat sesh in and still have the rest of your evening to relax and sip some kombucha or wine {or whatever else you might choose to do}!
